With a background in healthcare management and plenty of first-hand experience navigating the healthcare system, Leah is interested in supporting community health through local food. She brings her extensive knowledge of Food as medicine, working with pediatricians to create food plans for children. Now the proud owner of Plum and Mule Community Market, Leah works with other community partners and local farms and producers to bring high-quality food to people in the city. Leah brings her grit and perseverance, in addition to all her technical knowledge of both the healthcare system and local procurement, to support SOFSA in our fundraising, organizing, and decision-making.
