Operations & Impact: Staff & Fellows
Adeline Rang
Farm to Institution Fellow
A recent transplant to Syracuse, Adie is completing a Master's in Public Administration. She is passionate about agriculture, having received a Bachelor's in Agricultural Science and worked extensively with bee management and connecting farmers and ranchers to restaurants and new markets. She got involved with SOFSA after learning about the organization in a food systems conference in Portland, Oregon, and now joins our team as the Farm-to-Institution fellow.
Adie believes that everyone has a right to access fair, affordable, and nutritious food. She sees schools and other institutions as an essential level in food systems transformation. She believes that supporting both farms and institutions in getting more local produce into schools is a clear path towards a more sustainable food system.
