Sofia (they/them) is a queer Chicane/x artist, community organizer, and scholar living in Syracuse, NY. They are passionate about fostering community and promoting diverse, inclusive perspectives in everything they do. As a creative activist, they hope to reimagine public space and landscape use, support culturally sensitive approaches to design and advocacy, and promote access to food, arts, and helpful resources in historically underrepresented communities. Sofia holds a B.Arch from Syracuse University School of Architecture and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Landscape Architecture at SUNY ESF.
